Who this applies to
This policy covers the Dinosaur Dance Party app on iPad and iPhone, and the Android version where available. Ernie Interactive is the studio name of Ian Mukherjee, LLC (214 N 11th Street Apt 5R, Brooklyn, NY 11211), which is responsible for the app.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We do not know who is playing, how often they play, what they tap, where they are, or what device they are using.
The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools, no advertising, no social media features, and no third-party software development kits that gather information. It makes no network requests of its own.
What the app saves on the device
So that the game can be picked up where it was left, the app writes two small files in its own private storage on the device:
- Progress — which friends have been met and how far each of their games has been played.
- Purchase record — whether the full version has been bought, so the game does not have to ask the store every time it opens.
Neither file contains any personal information, and neither ever leaves the device. They are not backed up to us, because there is no “us” for them to be sent to. Deleting the app removes both.
Purchases
The app offers one optional purchase, which unlocks the rest of the friends and their games. It is a single payment; there is nothing else to buy and no subscription.
Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The payment, the account it belongs to, and the record of the transaction are theirs, not ours. We never see a name, an email address, a payment card, or a billing address. All the app learns is whether the store says this account owns the full version.
Apple's and Google's own privacy policies cover what they do with that information: apple.com/legal/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.
Children's privacy
Dinosaur Dance Party is made for young children, and it is built so that there is nothing for a child to give away. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children, and there is no circumstance in which a child using the app can disclose personal information to us.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). Since no information is collected, there is nothing for a parent to review, correct, or ask us to delete — but a parent who has a question is very welcome to write to us at the address below.
The app has no advertising, no in-app browser, no links out to other websites, no chat, and no way for a child to communicate with anyone. The only screen that can lead to a payment sits behind a question a young child is not expected to answer.
Third parties
We do not share information with third parties, because we do not have any to share. The app store you downloaded the app from is the only other party involved, and only for the download and any purchase.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA give people rights to see, correct, and delete the personal information a company holds about them. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. If you would like confirmation of that in writing, please ask.
This website

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a change ever means the app starts collecting something, we will say so clearly and prominently rather than quietly editing this page.
